About me:

As an artist, I'm always trying new things, and I tend to go through art-related 'phases.'
On any given Monday (or Tuesday or Wednesday...), I will decide resolutely to take on a new project in a different area of art -- to devote time to that project and that project only until it's done. But, since I apparently have commitment issues, you could very well find me starting yet another project by that time next week.

Now, I like to think that I have the ability to pick one task and focus solely on it until I finish, and I promise you, in some cases this is true. But, I view art as a wide realm of expressive freedom, so why limit myself here?

So, rather than tethering my imagination to the post of drawing or keeping it behind the fences of the field of needlework, I let it roam free, briefly grazing upon patches of literature and photographic interest.
It goes wherever it pleases, sometimes exploring new ground, but inevitably comes back to those areas that it knows well. Though these places are now familiar to it, there's always something new or previously overlooked to be found there, which brings about feelings of both excitement over the unknown and a certain amount of nostalgia.

In conclusion, I leave you with the reassurance that I have no intention to stop making art anytime soon, and that I'll continue to try new things and keep it interesting. Cheerio!

I tried roleplay once, but I just felt kind of lost, and kept wondering when it would end. No offense to the person I was rp-ing with, it's just that I'm already socially inept (sometimes) and I'd prefer not to fumble my way through a seemingly-awkward rp. 'K, thanks!
